Pact Global LEAP Manager, Daisy Kisyombe (Left) unpacking the Collaboration Learning and Adaptation Agenda while FACT Zimbabwe MEAL Advisor following.
Family AIDS Caring Trust – FACT Zimbabwe with technical support from Pact a partner under the SPACE for OVC Program conducted a Collaboration, Learning and Adaptation (CLA) training and assessment for the SPACE for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) program Consortium Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning teams from Manicaland and Masvingo provinces working under the SPACE for OVC program.

The one-week-long engagement sought to orient the MEAL teams to their roles in the rollout of the CLA agenda. As part of capacity strengthening the training and assessment also marks the second engagement under Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) agenda for the program.
CLA is a set of practices that help to improve development effectiveness. CLA helps to ensure programs are coordinated with others, grounded in a strong evidence base, and adapted to remain relevant throughout the implementation. FACT Zimbabwe will ensure the CLA plan does respond to internal collaborations with other programmes and external collaborations with implementing partners.
