Last week, Family AIDS Caring Trust – FACT Zimbabwe handed over groceries and clothes to Sakubva Old People’s Home and Bonda Children Home; and a wheelchair was also handed over. The handover ceremony coincided with the 2024 – 2026 Organisation Strategy Launch which took place in Mutare.
In 2023, Family AIDS Caring Trust – FACT Zimbabwe hosted a sponsored walk dubbed ” Steps for A Healthier Future,” which gave staff and partners an opportunity to contribute towards the noble cause. The walk managed to raise a total of USD $2,924 aimed to fundraise towards the cause.
Speaking during the handover, the Manicaland Province Minister of State and Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Misheck Mugadza, applauded the gesture extended by FACT Zimbabwe in ensuring that vulnerable populations are not left behind. He also encouraged similar activities and initiatives to support the community at large.
