FACT Zimbabwe in partnership with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation with support from the Centre for Disease Control has kickstarted the NO Means NO Worldwide  Boys and Young Men’s inaugural training in Mashonaland West province of Zimbabwe.

The training seeks to build facilitation skills for Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM) aged between 10 and 20 years drawn from seven wards of Makonde district in Mashonaland West province.

The NO Means NO Worldwide  curriculum is an evidence-informed, cutting edge violence prevention curriculum designed and specifically rooted in empowerment self-defence which is a uniquely survivor-centred, feminist approach to self-protection skills.

The program aims to reach 2,560 boys and men with violence prevention sessions in Makonde district by September 2022.
