FACT Zimbabwe made a maiden appearance at the 2023 Edition of the Inter- Non-Governmental Organization Games which we held at Prince Edward High School in Harare on the 28th of October 2023.

The games which ran under the theme, ” Positively impacting lives, one game at a time,” the games attracted the participation of development partners across the breath of Zimbabwe facilitating a platform for interaction and wellness for staff members from different organisations.

As debutants, FACT gave a sterling performance in all the different disciplines that were on offer. These included soccer, darts, snooker, netball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, and athletics. Below are the results from the various disciplines FACT took part in:

SOCCER- The team came in 3rd place out of 32 teams. Played 7 games (6 wins Draw 1 (lost on penalties). Scored 21 goals. NETBALL- The team came 4th out of 12 teams. The team played 5 games (2 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw). Basketball- The team played 5 games and came 1st out of 6 teams. VOLLEYBALL- The team won only 1 game. They got knocked out in the rounds stage and did not proceed to the quarterfinals. DARTS- The team came 1^st after winning all 4 games they played. SNOOKER- The team played 3 singles and won 1. They also played 1 double and won 1 double.
